About
Hi! I'm Ashley, a licensed psychologist in Texas. I believe in a strengths-based approach and that the best evaluations begin with genuine curiosity. Everyone has a unique story, and my goal is to understand the whole person, not just a checklist of symptoms. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable talking openly about your experiences. I see the evaluation process as a collaboration. Together, we'll build a better understanding of how you think, learn, and experience the world so you leave with meaningful insights and practical recommendations that fit your life.
My interest in psychology began with my younger brother, who is autistic. Growing up, I saw firsthand both the challenges and the incredible strengths that can come with neurodivergence. Watching my family work to understand his unique needs inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others gain that same understanding. That experience led me to become a school psychologist and, ultimately, a licensed psychologist. Today, I am passionate about helping individuals and families better understand themselves through thoughtful, strengths based evaluations that provide meaningful answers and practical next steps.
I believe that a good evaluation should help people better understand how they learn, think, and experience the world while recognizing the strengths that make them who they are. I strive to approach every evaluation with curiosity, compassion, and genuine respect for each person's unique experiences. My goal is for every client to leave feeling understood, affirmed, and equipped with practical recommendations that build on their strengths.
