About
Hello! I am so glad that you have made the decision to seek out support at this time. Making the decision to seek out testing and therapy is courageous and at times, anxiety-provoking. I am here to provide a supportive, non-judgmental and understanding environment by building a positive rapport and sense of trust. I will work to guide you in allowing yourself to be open and vulnerable in an effort to explore your concerns at a deeper level.
I wish to help individuals gain a better understanding of themselves, what motivates their actions and relationship styles in an effort to work towards positive change. I have experience working with a diverse client population and take pride in providing a safe space for POC and LGBTQ+ individuals.
I chose to work with autistic individuals because I am continually inspired by the unique ways they experience, understand, and engage with the world. I value the opportunity to listen deeply, appreciate each person’s individual strengths and perspectives, and provide a space where they feel understood, respected, and accepted for who they are. Working with autistic individuals has taught me the importance of seeing the whole person beyond a diagnosis. It is meaningful to me to support individuals and their families as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, build confidence, and find ways to thrive that feel authentic to them.
I believe in helping individuals recognize and build upon their strengths while also compassionately addressing the challenges that may stand in their way. Every person brings unique abilities, interests, and perspectives to the table, and these strengths can serve as an important foundation for growth and confidence. At the same time, acknowledging areas of difficulty creates opportunities to develop meaningful strategies, skills, and supports. My goal is to create a collaborative and encouraging environment where challenges are approached with curiosity and compassion, strengths are celebrated, and each individual is empowered to grow in ways that are meaningful to them.
