About
Hello! I am so glad you're here. My name is Ashley Fisher. I am a counseling professional licensed in Texas. I am passionate about helping individuals live a productive and healthier life. I provide a warm, supportive, and focused approach to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly process what’s been weighing on you. I believe healing happens when clients feel emotionally safe while also being empowered to grow and challenge patterns that no longer serve them. I will work toward helping you build resilience, improve emotional balance, strengthen relationships, and feel more grounded and confident in your daily life. Therefore, I strive for everyone to leave sessions feeling more supported, self-aware, and equipped to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and stability.
I am motivated to work with Autistic adults to help them embrace their authentic selves, clarify their personal values, and take meaningful action toward the lives they want to live. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic space where clients feel seen, understood, respected, and empowered to build on their strengths, while enhancing their well-being and cultivating fulfilling relationships. Ultimately, I believe counseling should not focus on changing who autistic individuals are, but on equipping them with personalized tools and support to thrive authentically and live in alignment with their values.
I provide a compassionate, affirming, and strengths-based approach to ensure that everyone feels seen, heard, understood, and valued. I use evidence-based therapy approaches focused on gaining emotional awareness, learning healthy coping skills, acquiring interpersonal skills, processing past trauma, challenging negative self-talk, and healing the inner child.I strongly believe that everyone has the innate ability to achieve their goals. I am also in agreeance that guidance, support, education, and resources are also needed along this journey called life. If you would let me, I would be honored to join you on this journey of choosing you.
