Hello and welcome! I'm glad you're here. My name is Arturo Soto-Nevarez. I currently live in Chicago and am licensed in Illinois. I have lived here for the past decade and I spent most of my childhood and young adulthood in Las Vegas, Nevada. I strive toward assisting you find answers to the questions you have about yourself and what helps you be at your best. I look forward to actively listening to your personal story, including the triumphs you've had in life.
My motivation for providing assessments for neurodivergent adults stems from seeing the challenges that people in the neurodiverse community put in life overcome through intense effort. I acknowledge the immense resilience they hold having reached adulthood and acknowledge that acquiring an appropriate assessment can be out of reach for many. Additionally, I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent adults in an affirming and genuine manner from introduction through delivery of a thoughtful report, where I aim to demonstrate my respect and compassion for each person. Together, we can work collaboratively so you can reach the potential you have always felt you could achieve.
As a clinician, I believe in working through a genuine collaborative effort with every client. I ensure that I listen actively and empathically to ensure that individuals are heard accurately, and feel safe and seen. After all, each person is the expert of their own lived experiences. By trusting your expertise, I lend my clinical expertise to identify your strengths so you can leverage them to successfully navigate the unique life demands you face and achieve your personal goals.
