About
I was trained in transpersonal psychology at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. I moved to Ohio to be closer to family and plant roots. I opened my private practice in 2023 and now solely focusing on providing my clients personalized care, support, advocacy, and education with counseling and psychological services. My specializations include helping individuals identify neurodivergent conditions, such as autism and/or ADHD, and other mental health conditions, such as trauma, BPD, bipolar disorder, and others. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions by collaborating with an outside ketamine prescriber/provider.
What made me specialize in serving neurodivergent clients was nothing in particular except an initial opportunity to work with autistic kids and families; although I did not initially seek out to work specifically with autistic individuals, after learning and gaining more understanding and expertise about autism and other neurodivergent conditions, such as ADHD, OCD, ODD, C-PTSD, I fell in love with the population and serving them in various capacities. I also have embraced my own neurodivergency though this process which has been very self-affirming and healing.
My practice is LGBTQIA+ friendly, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed; I have a lived experience of C-PTSD and neurodivergency. I am a practicing Buddhist and in recovery. My main regulation practice is yoga.
Conditions that I have experience treating include: intense anxiety and demand avoidance (including PDA), chronic depression, OCD, R-OCD, insecure/anxious attachment (including C-PTSD), pre-verbal trauma (including adoption), grief/profound loss. I utilize mindfulness and a somatic orientation to help client’s facilitate healing for trauma and other conditions, orient client to use their “felt sense… noticing” experience, use metaphors and defusion ACT interventions, facilitate creative expression, and guide symbolic development and non-verbal interoceptive awareness. My focus rests on the individual’s nervous system and Developmental, Individual, and Relationship (DIR: Floortime) differences. DIR was founded by Dr. Greenspan and meets and “leans into" the individual’s neuro-brain, sensory-motor systems, and internal hidden senses (including interoception and children’s proprioception).
