About

I’m truly proud of you for taking this first step toward caring for your health. Reaching out isn’t easy, and choosing to begin this journey shows real courage. For more than 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and adults facing ODD, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, autism/Asperger’s, military reintegration, Veteran transitions, stress, tobacco cessation, weight management, and chronic health conditions. Every person I’ve worked with has reminded me how powerful it is when someone feels seen, supported, and not alone.I’m committed to making sure your care is centered on your needs and your best interest. My goal is to walk beside you with compassion, respect, and genuine belief in your ability to grow and heal.

Education & Licensure
I have a Masters degree in Counseling from Austin Peay State University and Bachelors degree in Sports & Physical Health Management from Averett University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose this work because I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone feels truly understood, especially those who have spent years feeling overlooked, misunderstood, or asked to “fit” into spaces not built for them. Supporting autistic and other neurodivergent clients has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career. I value the honesty, creativity, and unique perspectives they bring, and I’m committed to creating a space where their communication styles, sensory needs, and ways of thinking are respected and supported. For over 18 years, I’ve walked alongside children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, and I’ve learned that healing begins when people feel safe enough to be themselves. I do this work because I believe in your courage, your strengths, and your right to be met with compassion, not judgment. My goal is to walk with you, not ahead of you, as you build a life that feels more grounded, supported, and authentically yours.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach to therapy  I believe every person carries a deep well of strengths—sometimes hidden, sometimes underused, but always present. My work is grounded in helping you recognize those strengths and build upon them in ways that feel authentic and empowering. I use an eclectic approach that blends Person‑Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Therapy, Solution‑Focused strategies, and Positive Psychology. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” we focus on what’s strong. Your goals, your voice, and your lived experience guide our work together as we shape a path toward the outcomes you want to achieve. What you can expect from me  Maya Angelou said, “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud,” and that reflects how I show up in this work. I aim to be a steady, compassionate presence—someone who sees your potential clearly, even on days when you don’t. I believe everyone has a toolbox of inner resources, and my role is to help you discover, strengthen, and trust those tools. Together, we’ll build on your resilience, your insight, and your unique abilities so you can continue growing into the strongest, healthiest version of yourself.
