About
Annette Collier, MS, LPC, LPMHC, C-DBT, ASDCS, ADHD-CCSP, is an Army Veteran and licensed mental health provider with over 15 years of experience serving Veterans through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and life transitions.
Licensed in Florida, Texas, Connecticut, and South Carolina, Annette is passionate about providing affirming, strengths-based care that empowers clients to build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and achieve meaningful personal growth. Her approach combines clinical expertise, compassion, and practical, solution-focused strategies to help individuals thrive while honoring their unique strengths and experiences.
My decision to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients is both personal and professional. My brother, who is neurodivergent, was diagnosed later in life, and that experience opened my eyes to how often individuals go unseen, misunderstood, or misdiagnosed. It highlighted just how underserved this population is and how much support is missed when recognition comes too late. That perspective drives my work—I’m committed to providing affirming, informed care that helps clients feel understood earlier and more accurately, while equipping them with tools to navigate life in a way that honors how they are wired.
I take a strengths-based approach that emphasizes recognizing and expanding what is already present within each individual. By integrating CBT and C-DBT skills, I support clients in reshaping unhelpful thought patterns, building emotional resilience, and developing effective coping strategies. Rather than focusing primarily on challenges, I help clients use their strengths as the foundation for meaningful growth. This work is grounded in compassion, affirmation, and a commitment to helping each person step fully into their potential.
