Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Annie Garrett. I am licensed in California, Maryland, and Virginia and can practice in all PSYPACT participating states. I am passionate about helping people deepen their self-understanding and improve their lives.
My motivation for working with autistic adults stems from growing up in a close family of origin with a parent and sibling on the spectrum. I have a deep respect for neurodiversity and am passionate about inclusivity and helping every person feel understood and welcomed, no matter how different they may feel. I deeply value the perspectives and the lens' through which autistic individuals view life.
I provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment, and my style is active and engaged. I will show up to every session willing to be fully present with you and invested in your growth. My goal is that you feel comfortable to be completely yourself and feel safe to share anything that comes to mind in our sessions. Together, we will help you make lasting changes by tapping into your inner strengths and helping you develop more helpful patterns of thoughts and behaviors.
