About

Hi there, and welcome. Reaching out for support is a brave first step, and I’m glad you’re here. Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to support people through all kinds of life transitions—whether they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply looking for a space to breathe and sort things out. I’m someone who listens closely, shows up authentically, and believes in building real human connection in the therapy space. Clients often share that they feel at ease with me because I’m down to earth and easy to talk to. I bring warmth, humor when it fits, and a steady presence. My approach isn’t one-size-fits-all—we’ll figure out what works best for you. Sometimes that might look like helping you build coping skills, and other times it’s about unpacking deeper patterns or just having someone in your corner who truly listens.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My decision to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients comes from both my professional journey and my deep commitment to honoring the full spectrum of human experience. Throughout my years in clinical practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals whose needs and perspectives didn’t always align with traditional systems and I saw how often they were misunderstood, overlooked, or asked to conform rather than be embraced for who they are. What drew me in was the incredible depth, insight, and creativity I witnessed when people were given the space to be themselves without judgment. I believe neurodivergent individuals deserve therapy that meets them where they are, respects how they process the world, and centers their strengths not just their struggles. My work is guided by a strong belief in inclusion, authenticity, and advocacy. I’m passionate about creating a space where neurodivergent clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore their goals on their own terms whether that’s in relationships, routines, identity, or self-regulation.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My work is deeply rooted in the belief that every person holds strengths often ones they don’t even realize yet. I see therapy as a space not just for addressing what’s hard, but for recognizing what’s already working. Whether it's your creativity, insight, humor, or ability to keep showing up despite challenges, those strengths are the foundation we’ll build on.I approach each client with warmth, compassion, and respect for their lived experience. Rather than focusing on what needs to be "fixed," I support clients in reconnecting with who they are, celebrating their identity, and recognizing the value they bring to the world. This includes embracing and honoring neurodivergence as a natural part of human variation not a flaw or deficit.I prioritize creating an affirming environment where clients feel safe to be fully themselves. I listen deeply, validate your experiences, and work collaboratively to help you move toward your goals at your pace, and in your own way.As a woman of color and an advocate for social justice and inclusion, I also bring a culturally informed lens to my work. I’m actively involved in affinity-based spaces and community programs focused on equity, empowerment, and access. These values shape every aspect of my practice.Ultimately, my role is to support you in seeing your own brilliance, trusting your inner voice, and stepping into your full potential with confidence and clarity.
