About
Welcome! My goal is to offer a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where we can gently process grief, manage stress, navigate systemic barriers to care, and empower you to thrive on your own terms with supportive, practical guidance every step of the way. Whether you are navigating burnout, complex caregiving roles, deep life transitions, trauma, or ongoing mental health challenges, you don't have to carry the weight of it alone. I welcome adults, individuals, caregivers, and families seeking a grounded, compassionate partner to help bring clarity, healing, and sustainable balance to their lives.
My motivation for specializing in working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals stems from both deep professional dedication and profound personal lived experience. Throughout my nearly two decades as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker across school, community, residential, and outpatient settings, I have seen how traditional therapeutic and educational models often approach neurodivergence through a deficit-focused lens—frequently prioritizing behavioral compliance over authentic well-being, sensory regulation, and self-advocacy. I am continuously inspired by the distinct strengths, problem-solving perspectives, and authenticity of neurodivergent youth and adults. My goal as a clinician is to provide a compassionate, safe space where clients feel genuinely understood, honored in their unique neurotype, and empowered to unmask, build on their internal resources, and thrive on their own terms.
I bring an affirming, strengths-based approach to my practice by centering every therapeutic relationship around compassion, personal autonomy, and a deep appreciation for each individual's unique inherent value. Rather than viewing clients through a lens of deficit or pathology, I focus on identifying, celebrating, and leveraging their existing strengths. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with almost 20 years of experience, I bring deep expertise along with a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to our work together.
