About
Aloha, I am Dr. Andrea Brockman, a licensed psychologist who’s passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges while discovering their strengths. I currently split my time between Georgia and Tennessee, where I love connecting with the unique communities here. With licenses in both Pennsylvania and Florida, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Each person I have encountered brings with them unique experiences and perspectives. What drives me is the deep belief that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and empowered in their journey toward mental well-being. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to offer support. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a compassionate, client-centered approach, making sure you always feel safe and supported in our work together.
As a psychologist, my passion for working with neurodivergent individuals comes from both personal and professional experiences. I’m incredibly grateful to have a son who is neurodivergent, and his unique perspective on the world has deeply shaped my approach to therapy and understanding of the human experience. Watching him grow, I’ve come to realize just how special and beautiful neurodivergence truly is - possessing gifts—gifts of creativity, resilience, and depth. My son has taught me how each individual’s brain processes information, emotions, and social interactions in their own way. He’s shown me the incredible value of embracing these differences and fostering a space where they are celebrated, not just tolerated. The strengths that neurodivergent individuals bring—whether it’s in pattern recognition, attention to detail, innovation, or empathy—are powerful and often misunderstood in a world that values conformity. My goal as a psychologist is to help neurodivergent clients harness their full potential while offering them the tools they need to navigate the world around them with confidence and self-acceptance.
When working with clients, I focus on affirming their experiences and identities. It’s important for me to create a space where clients can fully express themselves without fear of judgment or misunderstanding. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is to be met with acceptance and validation. Neurodivergent individuals often face environments that might not fully understand or appreciate the richness of their experience, and that’s where I come in. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, and respected exactly as they are.
