Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Throughout my career, I have found myself naturally drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals. I genuinely enjoy supporting this community and value the different perspectives, strengths, and ways of experiencing the world that each person brings. I also deeply appreciate the creativity, insight, honesty, and thoughtful ways of thinking that autistic and neurodivergent individuals bring to their relationships, workplaces, and communities. I’m passionate about helping clients better understand how their minds work, build on their strengths, and create lives that support their authentic selves.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

One aspect of my therapeutic approach that often resonates with clients is my focus on psychoeducation. I believe that understanding the "why" behind our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences can be both empowering and validating. Many clients find relief in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and learning how their brains process and interact with the world around them.It is a privilege to work alongside clients as they deepen their self-understanding, build on their strengths, and develop strategies that support their goals and well-being. My goal is not to change who you are, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize your unique strengths, and create a life that reflects your values, needs, and authentic self.
