About

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to children, teens, adults, and families. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, and complex family dynamics including divorce, foster care, and parenting challenges. I also have a strong focus on supporting individuals with disabilities and the parents who care for them. With over six years of experience, I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that blends CBT, DBT skills, and play-based interventions to help clients build confidence, emotional resilience, and real-life coping tools. I provide unique insight as a blind therapist with life experience.

Education & Licensure
Masters in Social Work at UIC; Bachelors in Sociology from UIC
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to work for Prosper because i value their approach to disability affirming care. As a Blind woman myself i know what it is like to have a therapy experience where you are not able to be completely open about your identity as a disabled individual. I hope to use my lived experience to provide a unique empathetic lens.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe the most important part of the therapeutic process is meeting the client at where they are in their healing journey. additionally, I believe it is important to ensure each individual has a meaningful experience, I do this by assessing the client's goals, interests, preferred styles of communication, and any other noted preferences. I use these factors to insure that each client has individualized and fulfilling conversations.
