About
Hi, I’m really glad you’re here. I’m Amanda a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health. I’ve worked in a variety of settings—from residential treatment to outpatient and virtual care—which has given me a deep understanding of how different life challenges can show up.What drives me as a provider is creating a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, open, and fully yourself. I know reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and I don’t take that step lightly. When we work together, my focus is on truly understanding your experience and helping you find practical ways to move forward. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I was drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I’ve always been interested in understanding people beyond surface-level expectations. In my work, I’ve seen how often neurodivergent individuals are asked to adapt to environments that don’t fully support them—and how exhausting that can be.What matters to me is creating a space where you can show up as yourself without feeling like you have to mask or perform. I want to understand how you experience the world and help you find ways to navigate it that actually work for you. This isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about helping you feel more understood, more supported, and more confident in how you move through your life.
I approach this work by focusing on who you are as a whole person, not just what you’re struggling with. You already have strengths, perspectives, and ways of navigating the world that matter—I want to help you understand and use them in a way that works for you.I aim to create a space where you feel safe being honest, where your experiences are taken seriously, and where you don’t feel pressured to fit into someone else’s expectations. Together, we’ll explore what’s been helpful, what hasn’t, and how to build on what actually supports you. My goal is for you to walk away with a stronger sense of self, more confidence in your decisions, and tools that feel realistic and sustainable.
