About

Hi, I'm Amanda! I am a licensed psychologist based in Denver, Colorado. I am especially drawn to helping people better understand themselves, their experiences, and the patterns that have shaped their lives. That curiosity is a big part of what draws me to assessment work. I approach the process with warmth, curiosity, and compassion, with the goal of helping you feel genuinely seen and understood while we work together to make sense of your experiences.

Education & Licensure
PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePaul University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I approach all clinical work through the lens of increasing understanding of the self and making sense of one's experiences. In my work with neurodivergent and autistic adults, I have seen how powerful it can be to finally have language and a framework for experiences that may have felt confusing or misunderstood for years. I value the opportunity to help people approach themselves with greater curiosity and self-compassion, and I believe assessment can be an important part of that process. My goal is to help clients better understand their experiences, recognize and build upon their strengths, and identify ways of navigating their lives and relationships that feel more authentic and supportive.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe that understanding someone means seeing the whole person, not simply focusing on the areas where they may be struggling. I approach my work with curiosity and compassion, helping clients recognize the strengths, skills, and adaptations they have developed throughout their lives, while also making space for the challenges that brought them to assessment. I also recognize that some of the challenges people face can come from navigating systems and expectations that were not created with neurodiversity in mind. My goal is for clients to leave feeling seen and understood, with greater compassion for themselves, a clearer understanding of their strengths and needs, and information they can use to build a life that works well for them.
