About

Hi, I am Alyssa Dyer and I want to support you in whatever you may be facing. I value providing a compassionate, person-centered space where you are free to just be YOU and be heard. I am licensed in Idaho. My goal is to help empower you to feel confident about who you are and how to live more in line with your values in life and in relationships. Together, we can identify patterns in your behaviors, barriers in the way of your goals, strengths to help you through, and new ways to move forward. I look forward to meeting you!

Education & Licensure
Master of Social Work from Utah State University; Bachelors in Social Work from Utah State University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have a passion for working with people who are unique and seeing the immeasurable potential in each person I meet. I feel that YOU are the expert in your life and your inner experiences. I am honored to meet with you and be allowed a spot in your life to see things through your perspective. I am inspired by your resilience and abilities. Together, we will foster trust, openness, and hopefully share some laughs along the way.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I focus on building a genuine connection with each person I meet, showing up for you as a therapist but also as a fellow human being experiencing life. I believe you have strengths already built inside of you that can allow you to navigate and cope with life's stressors. As we identify these, they can be harnessed to live life as your best self. I hope to provide a space where you feel seen and heard, just the way you are, while working towards your personal goals.
