About
Hello all, I am so glad you are here. I work with individuals of all ages who experience anxiety, depression, and have difficulty with emotional regulation. I rely on a Person-Centered approach to build rapport with each unique client. I specialize in both working with the LGBTQIA+ and Jewish community. I use a Trauma Informed Approach and Feminist therapy to be an advocate for all individuals. I have a minor in music, and I like to implement music into my therapy services. I bring a special blend of social advocacy, musicianship, and empathy into my work. My personal and professional experiences provide me a unique perspective in counseling.Furthermore, I use a variety of modalities, such as Dialectical Behavioral skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Play Therapy based on client needs.
My motivation for working with neurodiverse individuals is to create a safe space for the community. It is far too often that many spaces in healthcare lack empathy and understanding of the social and emotional needs of neurodiverse individuals. As a clinician, it is important for my client to feel heard and valued when navigating specific challenges. I strive to support the strengths and the unique perspectives of individuals with Autism. My goal is to provide support and build on the strengths of each individual, navigating their unique daily life challenges
I employ a strength-based approach, focusing on the client's abilities. Clients will have a safe space to learn to navigate their unique challenges with a nonjudgmental approach. It is essential to acknowledge and validate the challenges that neurodiverse individuals may encounter. An affirming approach helps clients learn to navigate a neurotypical society with a neurodiverse perspective.
