About
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in North Carolina and provide telehealth services to adults across participating PSYPACT states. Throughout my career, I have conducted comprehensive psychological assessments for adults with a wide range of mental health, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental concerns. What drives me most as a provider is the opportunity to help people better understand themselves. I believe that an assessment should be more than a diagnosis, it should provide clarity, validation, and practical guidance that empowers individuals to move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding. My goal is to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being their authentic selves.
I was drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent adults because I have seen how many individuals reach adulthood without having their experiences fully understood or recognized. Many have spent years adapting to expectations that did not fit the way they naturally think, communicate, or experience the world. I value the opportunity to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves through a comprehensive evaluation that recognizes both their lived experiences and their unique strengths. It is especially meaningful to be part of a process that often brings validation, answers to long-standing questions, and a renewed sense of self-acceptance.
My approach is grounded in the belief that neurodiversity is a natural part of human variation. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I strive to understand each person's individual strengths, abilities, interests, and ways of navigating the world. Every evaluation is tailored to the individual and conducted in a respectful, affirming, and collaborative manner. I take time to listen carefully to each client's story, recognizing that no two people have the same experiences or support needs. My goal is for clients to leave the evaluation with a greater understanding of themselves, practical recommendations that fit their lives, and confidence in advocating for the supports and accommodations that will help them thrive.
