About
Hello, I’m Dr. Aishe Robinson, a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist based in South Florida. I am licensed to provide services in Florida and, through PSYPACT, can serve clients across multiple states via telehealth.
My professional background includes school psychology, clinical psychology, and psychological assessment, with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in comprehensive evaluations for concerns such as ADHD, autism, learning differences, giftedness, mood disorders, and personality functioning. In addition to my clinical work, I have experience in education, consultation, and forensic psychology. What drives me as a provider is a genuine passion for helping people better understand themselves and move toward meaningful change. I believe that every individual has unique strengths, and I strive to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether I am conducting an assessment or providing therapeutic support, my goal is to offer compassionate, evidence-based care that helps clients gain clarity, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
I am especially passionate about making psychological services accessible and helping individuals and families find answers that lead to greater self-understanding, growth, and success.
My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals comes from a deep belief that differences should be understood, supported, and celebrated rather than viewed solely through a deficit-based lens. Throughout my career as a psychologist and school psychologist, I have worked with many individuals who spent years feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or judged because they experienced the world differently.
I was drawn to this specialty because I saw firsthand how life-changing it can be when someone finally receives answers, validation, and a better understanding of themselves. For many clients, identifying their neurodivergence helps them make sense of experiences they have carried for years and allows them to approach themselves with greater self-compassion.
I am particularly passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths while also identifying supports that can improve their quality of life. Whether I am conducting an evaluation, providing education, or helping clients navigate challenges related to school, work, relationships, or daily functioning, my goal is to create a space where they feel seen, understood, and accepted.
What continues to inspire me is the opportunity to help neurodivergent individuals and their families gain insight, build confidence, and advocate for their needs. I believe everyone deserves to be understood for who they are, and I am honored to be part of that journey.
I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by recognizing that neurodivergence is not something that needs to be "fixed," but rather understood within the context of each individual's unique experiences, abilities, and goals. My focus is on helping clients identify and build upon their strengths while also developing practical strategies to address areas of difficulty.
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe being their authentic selves. I actively listen to their experiences, validate their perspectives, and work collaboratively to understand how they navigate the world. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I help clients recognize their resilience, talents, interests, and personal successes, which often become important foundations for growth and self-advocacy.
As a psychologist, I understand that many autistic and neurodivergent individuals have spent years masking, feeling misunderstood, or receiving messages that their differences were deficits. My goal is to provide an experience that is affirming, respectful, and empowering. I approach evaluations and clinical work through a lens of curiosity, compassion, and cultural humility, ensuring that recommendations are individualized and aligned with each client's needs and values.
I am also committed to recognizing the impact that culture, identity, family systems, and lived experiences have on how individuals understand themselves and access support. I believe that when people feel truly seen, understood, and accepted, they are better able to embrace their strengths, advocate for their needs, and reach their full potential.
