About

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who enjoys helping people better understand themselves through thoughtful, supportive assessment. Many people seek an evaluation because they’re looking for clarity—wanting answers that help explain their experiences and point them in a helpful direction. I believe the assessment process should feel collaborative, respectful, and validating, not intimidating.I live in El Paso, Texas, and I’m licensed in both Texas and New Mexico. I also hold a PSYPACT license, which allows me to provide assessment services through telehealth in participating PSYPACT states. This makes it easier to connect with people in a way that fits their lives. With many years of experience, I aim to make assessments feel comfortable and approachable. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process, and to walk away with clear insights and practical information you can actually use.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia; A J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in Villanova; a Masters of Art in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice; and my Bachelors in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose this work because I believe differences in how we think, process, and experience the world are not necessarily problems to be fixed, but variations to be understood. Many people seek assessment after spending years feeling misunderstood or questioning themselves. I find it deeply meaningful to help individuals make sense of their experiences in a way that is validating, affirming, and strengths-based. My hope is that the assessment process feels less about labels and more about understanding—offering clarity, self-acceptance, and a clearer path forward that honors who you are.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My approach is rooted in recognizing and building on each person’s strengths, interests, and ways of thinking—rather than focusing on what’s “wrong” or what needs to be changed. I view assessment as a collaborative process where we explore how your mind works, what supports you best, and how your unique traits can be understood as assets. Throughout the process, I strive to be compassionate, affirming, and respectful of your lived experience.I’m especially mindful of how identity, culture, and life context shape how people experience the world, and I aim to provide care that feels inclusive and validating. My goal is for every person I work with to leave the assessment process feeling empowered, better understood, and more confident in their ability to advocate for themselves and move forward in ways that align with who they are.
