Steven Lucero

I'm a clinical psychologist credentialed with PSYPACT who hails from the Rocky Mountain West. While my career started in universities in teaching and clinical focused positions, I have since focused my work at the intersection of health technology in bringing clinical services to remotely delivered national-scale telehealth platforms like Prosper Health.

My passion for supporting folx who identify as neurodivergent began in graduate school when I was privileged to work with families of autistic children and teens using Applied Behavioral Analysis. Since then, I have expanded my work with autistic populations to focus on the important role of evaluation and assessment in supporting individuals and their families in diagnostic identification of autism to support seeking out ongoing services.

Patient autonomy and a strengths-based focus are important elements of my approach to intervention. Neurodiversity affirming care is an important core value in my work.
